It’s a cruel, cruel world, out there in the night You can lose your soul or a life in the fight So don’t walk away Don’t leave me alone Don’t run away And leave me standing, stranded in LA LA’s an “only” town and there’s no place to hide And she’ll bring you down, take you for a ride So don’t walk away Don’t leave me alone Don’t run away And leave me standing, stranded in LA I need you woman, I need your life I need you woman, I need your life I need you woman, I need your life I need you woman, I need your life . . . (Instrumental) So don’t walk away Don’t leave me alone Don’t run away And leave me standing, stranded in LA And leave me standing, stranded in LA

Seems like another fast summer as the days grow short again Seems like it’s been quite a bummer and I’m getting high again Caught up like a two-time lover in a double love affair Said she was gonna leave and I said I didn’t care Midnight flight, she’s out of sight now, guess I was wrong Can’t think of nothing else, but this crazy song, this crazy song Been pickin’ up jobs and one-night stands in old run down café’s Singing songs I long forgot and the words I care not to say Waking up to freeze-dried coffee and the months written on the wall Empty voices of two people just lingering down these halls Six weeks busted up and six months just feeling the same I’ve burned all my bridges but I, I can’t forget your name Forget your name And everyday keeps getting harder since she went away I’m lost without her In so many ways, can’t hide my fears Now she’s gone, gone so far away and left me here, don’t know what to say All alone, to cry with my tears And everyday keeps getting harder since she went away I’m lost without her (Bird, flying high) In so many ways, can’t hide my fears (Going south over New Orleans) But now she’s gone, gone so far away and left me here, don’t know what to say (Alone, alone am I) All alone, to cry with my tears and my broken dreams (Wasting time on broken dreams) (Instrumental) And everyday keeps getting harder since she went away I’m lost without her In so many ways, can’t hide my fears Now she’s gone, gone so far away and left me here, don’t know what to say All alone, to cry with my tears and my broken dreams And everyday keeps getting harder since she went away I’m lost without her (Bird, flying high) In so many ways, can’t hide my fears (Going south over New Orleans) But now she’s gone, gone so far away and left me here, don’t know what to say (Alone, alone am I) All alone, to cry with my tears and my broken dreams (Wasting time on broken dreams) Broken dreams . . . Oh oo oo (Instrumental)

Gypsy 06:07
My Gypsy Oh oh . . My Gypsy Oh oh . . My Gypsy Oh oh . . As twilight falls and the Gypsies sing My heart grows fond for the Gypsy Queen Her hair is black like a moonless night Eyes so green reflect the campfire light in My Gypsy Oh, oh my Gypsy My Gypsy Oh, oh my Gypsy (Speed Tempo- Instrumental) When the Gypsies sing and it feels like rain When the Gypsies sing and it feels like rain And the Gypsies call through the distant night And the shadows fall around our arms so tight And the Gypsies Sing …ing And the Gypsies Sing …ing And the Gypsies Sing (Instrumental) And the Gypsies Sing …ing And the Gypsies Sing …ing And the Gypsies Sing Embers glow as the fire burns low Love so sweet beats a soft retreat She glides away on her Gypsy wings Cast away among my dreams My Gypsy Oh, oh my Gypsy My Gypsy Oh, oh my Gypsy

In My Mind 04:42
Heat waves simmer endlessly on these desert sands As the sun sinks slowly down Lakebed image in mirages dancing through the air Never to be found but it’s in my My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, mind My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, mind Coastal beaches froth with foam bubbles in the sand Waves thunder as they pound Off shore breezes fill the air as boats go sailing by Colored image in my mind, yes there in my My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, mind My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, mind Through the tears of tattered pages Against foundations of time Marvelous wonders and aberrations Truth, questions and lies Yes, there in my… My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, mind My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, mind (Instrumental) Silence sweeps across this land as night time veils are drawn Children snuggled in warm embrace Dream of things to come. dream of things to come Dream of things to come. dream of things to come . . . ah ah . . . . ah ah

Talk about love in lonely places And talk about love with strong embraces Oh don’t, don’t you talk about love Talk about love on the children’s faces And talk about love that time erases Oh don’t, don’t you talk about love Kissing your baby on a Friday night Holding her tight in your arms tonight Oh don’t, don’t you think about love I said don’t, don’t you think about love Every now and then you feel so frightened And every now and then you're struck by lightening Oh don’t, don’t you think about love Cause loves what makes this world go round It’s the greatest thing this ole band has found It’s love, don’t you know that it’s love Yes it’s love, sweet, sweet love (Instrumental) Every now and then you feel so frightened And every now and then you're struck by lightening Oh don’t, don’t you think about love Cause loves what makes this world go round Its the greatest thing this ole band has found Its love, don’t you know that it’s love Yes its love, sweet, sweet love (Instrumental) Cause loves what makes this world go round It’s the greatest thing Bare Feet has found It’s love, don’t you know that it’s love Yes it’s love, sweet, sweet love

about

Evolution was the first album recorded by Bare Feet an acoustic driven band from Phoenix Arizona, USA. Home of gigantic saguaro's that dot the ancient volcanic desert landscape and where mystic hawks circle sacred Indian grounds of the HoHokam, Anasazi, and Mogollon people. Considered folk rock n’ roll, Bare Feet was never really sure what their true genre was? Most of the Billy Cage songs were different from one another. Ranging from haunting acoustic mixes, to faster up-beat cheery songs, to country, and acoustic rock that were inter-twined with the soft lead guitar sound of Rich Novoa, which at times echoed with a Spanish Flamenco intensity.
